This website, itself,  issues no cookies . It does not  request any information about website users and it retains no data. There is no advertising on the website  and there is no financial gain.

An email to the author may be viewed as a personal communication (details in Contact Section). 

   

Google analytics  is not used, which avoids any third party cookie issue. 

The map in  the map-catalogue is embedded in the website by Ordnance Survey. They  tell me that, depending on the configuration, ‘essential cookies’ are sometimes issued by them to distinguish users  by a random identifier; these would be to apply a throttle to the request rate, without any personal retention of data.     However, independent 'cookie checkers' assure me that on this site no cookie  issuing was found.
